◊ documentary film ‘Colored by War’
◊ the online library of written and video accounts of postwar generations who lost entire families, suffered oppression and persecution and genocide targeting citizens, and who carry the remnants of war with them.
◊ traveling exhibit
◊ a permanent exhibit in the yet to be built Shoah Museum in Amsterdam
This project was created 70 years after liberation from a persecution that caused European citizens to flee by the thousands. There have been many wars on various continents since then. The monument is an ode of those survivors and their children. This kind of persecution still goes on today.
